Cable TV operators compete head-to-head to win municiple licenses. This means they must successfully market their companies to local investors as solid business entities.

It's all or nothing: either they win, or they lose. There's nothing in between. So the pressure to make an irresistable presentation falls first (and probably foremost) on guess who...the writer. Better have a pro in that seat!
